Planning a new fence line
Before installing new fencing, we check the agreed boundary, finished height and route of the run. Access, existing concrete and changes in ground level all affect preparation. Posts are set to suit the fence and the conditions found on site.
Boards or panels are then fitted to the planned line, with gravel boards where specified and enough clearance for gates to open properly. For replacement fencing, we also agree which old materials are coming out and what sound sections can remain.
Choosing the materials and posts
Our fence installers fit closeboard and feather edge, lap and tongue and groove panels, trellis tops and picket fencing. Post and rail, commercial perimeters and matching gates are also available where the boundary calls for them.
Privacy may favour a solid timber face; an open frontage or field boundary may need a different approach. We discuss the appearance, exposure, post material and maintenance before you choose, rather than select a panel solely on price.
A clear installation quote
A free site visit gives us the measurements needed for a written installation quote. It sets out materials, labour, agreed removal and disposal, and options such as concrete posts, gravel boards or a matching gate.
The agreed price stays clear from the outset. If you are comparing new fencing with repairing the existing run, we can explain the condition of the posts and panels so you can decide on the appropriate scope.
